Time management

There are two types of wasting time :the good and the bad

The good is unplugging yourself and recharging yourself with good things like hobbies, going out, learning new skill.

Doing uproductive tasks are bad time wasters

There is a 2 minute rule depicted in the book by James Clear in his famous book Atomic Habits.

This 2 minute rule makes it easy to overcome procrastination by making it easy to do things that you kept in wraps.

a. Most of the time if a stuff takes 2 minute to do, start off immediately

b.It takes less than 2 minutes to start forming habits.

Do one thing at a time and stop multi-tasking

Prioritize as if you are going on a long vacation and get things done

Set a deadline -try to complete before deadline

1.Open one tab at a time

2.Focus on one task at atime

3.Don't start day by checking social media and emails

4.Write a to-do list everyday and at night time make a brain dump

5.Make an effective to-do list by keeping it short and sweet- that you can complete, write it the night before and number it in the order

6. Stick your ugliest frog as the number one priority in the list and finish it off the first thing in the morning.

7. Start with end in mind

Finally do the right things and empty out the wrong ones from the list.

Seek to be perfected by God-keep your to-do list for perfection in the hands of God

I was making my to-do list on my way to make (trying) my perfect orderly life. Then this song came across. "Seek to be perfected by God in all your ways and in your ways". Did I ask God whether these are what you required of me in my perfect to-do list. God has given human beings a vision of 20/20 meaning one can see clearly at a distance of 20ft.  To put that into perspective, eagle has the visual acuity of 20/5-meaning it can see at 20 feet what a human with 20/20 vision would need to be 5 feet away from to see. Eyes are a miracle-it is the proof of divine in itself. At times,we neglect to do what we can do for fear of perfection.Yes,it is true that "perfect is the enemy of done".It sometimes paralyzes us from doing nothing at all. What ignites Perfectionism? The pursuit of excellence which is something which we determine to do within our limited resouces and talents.  Perfectionism necessarily roots in from our desire to seek acceptance and fear of rejection.
