Arduino and IoT

Arduino since its inception in 2005 has been one of the best recognizable brands in electronics and embedded design.  It is divided into four sections Arduino hardware, software tools, arduino api, quick reference. It has over the years released over 100 hardware products in the form of boards, shields, carriers, kits and other accessories. The starter kit consists of Arduino UNO,  a large set of electronic components, and a physical book of 15 pages to get you started . The Opla IOT kit consists of components to build amazing IOT projects. Sensor kit consists of great plug and play sensors and actuators. Nano Family It is a set of  boards with  a tiny footprint jet packed with features . It consists of Nano Every, Nano 33 BLE Sense/Nano RP2040 connect that has bluetooth /Wifi radio modules. They have a set of embedded sensors , such as temperature/humidity, pressure, gesture, microphone and more. These can be programmed with micropython and used in machine learning. MKR family A set o

Edge AI-next step to ambient computing:  Intelligence on Smartphones and technology rebuilt around the concept of AI

It’s not an overstatement to emphasize that the smartphone  and other technologies industry is being transfigured by and built around the intricacies of AI.  From the user perspective, things may run a bit smoother, without knowing the intervention of AI. Major handset manufacturers are investing on the UI of smartphones so that they can inculcate the technology of AI and move further ahead in the market. And this is only the beginning, as these mobile-appropriate microprocessor chips doing the AI calculations will become cheaper over time and they’re likely to find their way not just to every phone, but every connected device in the world through a 5G connected Internet of Things. (IoT) and talks are on the move for 6G which is expected to hit the market by 2030. Edge AI is no longer in the blueprint phase. It has entered into mainstream adoption, and it is running at a sensational rate. It is the combination of edge computing and edge intelligence to run machine learning tasks direc

Corporate Social Responsibility, the process of  integrating social and ecological values of business , has become one of the significant global standards of business. Experts refer to this concept as the ‘triple bottom line’-people,planet and profit. Corporate Social Responsibility and ethics have garnered world-wide attention in the global economy, because of the collapse of Enron, the global financial crisis of 2008,through a corporate governance crisis and business ethics, the advent of international business trade , cause of concern for a sustainable future ,including global warming, climate change and ecosystem degradation and widening economic gaps among nations. Elevator Pitch

"The public have an insatiable curiosity to know everything, except what is worth knowing."-Oscar Wilde  I have been trying to finish the lyrics of a song that was popping for a long time. After a long time, just played the keyboard and hummed a few tunes. Deeply wanted to try generative art using Python, wanted to brush my Full stack developer skills, just trying out data Analysis and data scientist skills and just wanted to dive into Deep Learning ,and do AI projects.  Why I am writing this here is this possible?  We are living in a world where everything is made available in a platter.  Yes, what if bots come and start doing your job.  Although, companies like JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi have restricted the use of ChatGPT, the self-generative AI. Companies like Bains are embracing it. Its embedding into marketing, healthcare industry, customer service, media. tome , the story telling AI tool has generated well past a million users. This will soon or may be will be a

Books to Expand Your Mind in 2023-Granted-Adam Grant

Going through a no book reading, no music  journey for a month or two was a difficult saga.Yes a different journey, picking up one book and reading it half way through and switching to the other. Exponential technology means higher stakes 1.Technology has an exponential pattern. Advanced societies progress in a higher rate than the other less developed societies. It is both good and bad.Tech grows and becomes so powerful, and no matter how it has grown in a good way, the bad takes all over for us. 2. Environment changed faster than the human mind The modern world is n

Doing uproductive tasks are bad time wasters There is a 2 minute rule depicted in the book by James Clear in his famous book Atomic Habits. This 2 minute rule makes it easy to overcome procrastination by making it easy to do things that you kept in wraps. a. Most of the time if a stuff takes 2 minute to do, start off immediately b.It takes less than 2 minutes to start forming habits. Do one thing at a time and stop multi-tasking Prioritize as if you are going on a long vacation and get things done Set a deadline -try to complete before deadline 1.Open one tab at a time 2.Focus on one task at atime 3.Don't start day by checking social media and emails 4.Write a to-do list everyday and at night time make a brain dump 5.Make an effective to-do list by keeping it short and sweet- that you can complete, write it
